Zoeys' AFO
8-4-07:  MAN - we're busy!!!  Mallory is walking everywhere - thankgoodness 'cause my back is h-u-r-t-i-n-g!!!!  She still thinks crawling is faster, but I'm sure she'll discover running(especially away from me..lol) soon.  She is still doing Speech Therapy, but only has to go once a week.  She is talking very well now - her latest is Thank You.  Mallory is the bossy/pushy/bully one.  She likes to push Zoey and take her bottle...lol.  When she is repromanded she'll throw herself on the floor in a fit...It is quite humorous.  Mallory weighs in at 23lbs.
Zoey is doing well with her AFO.  She likes to take it off in the car and Dinah is quick to tell on her!  She has started the beginnings of standing unassisted - 6sec. here 12sec. there - praise the Lord.  Her therapists are so happy with the progress she is making.  We're praying to get her walking by Dec. She is talking a little bit more - she picks up on what Mallory says.  She does understand everything we say to her - blessing!!  Her weight is down to 17lbs 14ozs.  She is still on pediasure(adding 1Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil to one bottle/day) for extra fat.
They both say "love you" in their own way - Mallory's sounds like "la loo" and Zoey's is only understood if you knew thats what she's trying to say - the sweetest words a parent of  preemies can hear.
