| Entry 6 Continued... The travel went quickly and we found ourselves back in the town. We trumpeted our success to the townsfolk and went strait to the headmans house to deliver our prisoner. Barrow was pleased with our capture, but asked us to take it directly to the duke himself. I was very honored and we left immediately to do so. We traveled for nearly a week and then found ourselves in the dukes city. I hadnt ever really been to Weber before, so I made sure to visit a few things, and I bought you a trinket that I think you will like. It is a well, I dont want to spoil the surprise. It should be included with this letter that I have left with the temple of Farsk to be delivered to you. The Necromancer was delivered to the jailers, and as much as I had hoped, there wasnt really any ceremony to show that we had accomplished what we did. I suppose that the people from this big of a city didnt much care about a small town in the middle of nowhere called Gand, but Aria and I celebrated for sure. By that end of that night, I was flat drunk and dancing. Early the next morning, (too early for my tastes) I received a summons from the temple of Farsk. I went there immediately and received a letter from BaLuk that had been sent out a few days earlier. Apparently he had arranged for me to receive some papers from a town called Crass. The papers were in the possession of another mage who had uncovered them recently. I made my full report to the temple there in Weber, and left a note back to BaLuk to let him know that I had finally completed a mission of his without costing the church any money. I am sure that he will be happy to hear it. I had to leave Aria behind in Weber, as I dont think that she would have wanted to go with me on this expedition anyway. It was just a long caravan ride there, and a long caravan ride back. We exchanged our goodbyes and I left riding on Terrura to Alibar where the caravan was supposed to be leaving in a few days. So here I am, camped out under the stars just outside of Alibar. I hope to arrive into town tomorrow and drop this letter with the temple in hopes that it will get to you soon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
