MT. DAGULDUL, located at
San Juan Batangas 115 kilometers from Manila. The road from Manila to the
jump off-off point is 99% cemented or asphalted. The trek is approximately
2-3 hours to the campsite. Starts at the Hugom beach front towards the
other side of the island, a very different type of trekking indeed. Going
to the forest line to a gradually ascending trail with the seascape
background, over-looking the Batangas province. Amarker points to a branch
on the trail. The left trail leads to Naambon Falls. A three-minute
descending trail to the falls. Mt. Daguldul has one of the best,
convenient and huge campsites compared to other Philippine mountains
(water source is available at the campsite). Peak Areas - Campsite 1
(Gulugod Baboy), Campsite 2 (Niyugan), Bilaran ng Limatik, Mt. Naguiling. |
