What
kind of subjects do IB students have? Well, take your pick, they
can have usually everything from philosophy to theatre arts. Check
out the chart below to get something out of the information provided
by teachers.
Group
1:
Group One consists of different mother tongues. If you are a native
speaker of two languages you choose the one most comfortable for you.
Group
2: Secondary language, can be either a follow-up for a
language you have already studied, such as English or a so-called
ab nitio, language for beginners.
Group
3: Social studies, history, philosophy, economy, psychology,
ITGS and more depending on what you school permits.
Group
4: Natural sciences such as chemistry, physics and biology.
Group
5: Mathematical Studies, Mathematical Methods or Mathematical
HL.
Group
6: Arts and Electives, choose an creational and interaactin
subject such as Theatre Arts, Musical Arts or Visual Arts. One may
also choose an ab nitio language.
Middle
thingie: Obligatory subjects outside the six individual
choices. TOK(Theory of Knowledge), CAS(Creativity, Action and Service)
and Extended Essay.
