| Making a single section note book |

| These stills are from the Television production Sancoche The aim is to guide you to make a small single section note book. |
| What is needed 10 sheets of letter size paper Two sheets of light weight gray board 81/2 x51/5 ins Two sheets of decorative paper 81/2 x51/5 ins High fiber base material 3x81/2 ins (spine material) White Glue / small brush A folding stick, An awl, Thread / needle |
| Ten sheets of 8x10.5ins paper this will give you a twenty page book. (to increased the quality of the book laid paper or handmade paper may be used). |

| These sheets are folded into two using a flat blunted edge ruler or a bone folder to remove the air out of each fold. The folded sheets are inserted one into each other and the single section book should be pressed for a couple of hours. A light block may be used as a weight where the section may be pressed between two boards. |
