Characters:
The story begins with Jing Hang (Zheng Yuan Chang) debating in the court room (since he is a lawyer). At the end of the trial, the defendant keeps scolding at JH and as he couldn’t take it anymore, JH punches the guy and they have a fight.
One day, JH, his brother, and his dad have dinner together with Ke Ting (Qian Wei Shan) and her dad. Apparently, both dads want to match KT and Jing Ran (JH’s bro). JR seems very happy, but then KT stands up and says that she needs time to think about it. She runs outside, JH chases her. In front of the restaurant, JH tells KT that he doesn’t understand why would KT need time to think…he also tells her that his bro really likes her. “I really needs time to think about it” KT says. Then, JH says no matter what KT’s decision is, he will always support her. Suddenly, KT admits to JH that actually she likes JH instead of JR and then she gives JH a kiss on the lips (while JH just stands still^^)…without realizing that JR is actually watching them. JR’s heart is broken and he goes to a bar, while JH waiting for him at home.
The next day, JR comes home and immediately packs his clothes. He tells JH that he will go to US, while at the same time, JH is trying to tell JR that there is nothing between KT and JH, but JR won’t listen. They end up having a fight until their dad comes. JR tells his dad that KT likes JH, and he wishes his dad to support KT-JH relationship. After JR left, his dad asks JH, “I’ll give you two options, do you want to stay in this family or giving up KT for your brother?”. JH angrily answers, “Let me also give you two options, two sons (JH and JR), which one you choose?”. Dad says, “I don’t need to choose…Of course I will choose your brother. He is my best son.” JH is so pissed off and then left the house
1 year later……
Xiao Jun (Xia Yu Qiao) works in a toystore. She is a happy and cheerful girl. One day, she finds out that she is pregnant. Her best friend suggests her to have an abortion since she is too young to have a baby and won’t be able to take care of the baby by herself. But her other friend tells XJ not to. Instead, he suggests XJ to go talk with the guy who makes her pregnant, he says “Don’t you want to have a family, a house? If he loves you, he will takecare of you and the baby.”
After meeting with her friends, XJ goes home just to find out that her dad is being beaten by a couple of guy. Her dad owed them lots of money and he can’t pay them back (he likes gambling). XJ tries to protect her dad, but she is also being beaten and that two bad guys take her money away and her dad runs away.
Feeling sad and desperate, she calls her bf (who makes her pregnant) but he doesn’t pick up the phone, so she decides to go his place. What a miserable day for XJ when she sees her BF making out with another girl in his apartment. Her BF tries to explain, but she runs away
XJ decides to go to her dream place. Before, she was dreaming/expecting one day she will go to this place with the guy that she loves. But now, she thinks she will go there by herself. On the train, she meets JR (who just got back from US) with his fiancée, Ms.Li (also played by Qian Wei Shan). On the train, when XJ wants to buy a coke, she doesn’t have enough money. JR then pays for her. Then, XJ visits JR and Ms. Li’s seat to say thank you for the coke. XJ joins them and they have a chat. XJ tells them that she envies JR and Ms.Li as a couple who is in love. Then JR gets up from his seat to make a phone call. At the same time, XJ is staring at MS.Li’s engagement ring and says how beautiful it is [but I think the ring looks ugly and weird^_^]. They have a chat abt love and finally, Ms.Li asks XJ to try the ring. Suddenly, their train hit another train.
In hospital, Mr.Du (JH and JR’s dad) finds out that his son is dead in the train accident. But then a nurse tells him that there is a woman (XJ) who is likely JR’s wife (since she wears Du family’s ring). Once Mr.Du sees the ring on XJ’s finger, he recognizes it right away and he believes that the girl is JR’s wife, Ms.Li (Mr.Du never meets her before).
KT finds JH who is now working in a car repair centre. She tells him that JR is dead already. JH is so depressed by this news. KT asks him to go home to live with his dad. KT also tells him that JR’s has a wife who is now in the hospital.
XJ lost her memory. She has been told by Du family’s maid (who takes care of her in the hospital) that her name is Ms.Li. One day, XJ has a bad dream and she can’t find anyone in the hospital room, she is frightened and runs away. In the grass field near the hospital, XJ is trying to help two girls whose kite is stuck on a tree. They try to move the tree branch, without knowing that JH is sleeping on the other side of the tree. He wakes up and scolding at XJ, telling her that she is really annoying. In the middle of the argument, JH sees the ring on XJ’s finger and he is trying to take the ring from her and says that the ring is Du’s family ring. A policeman sees this and XJ tells the policeman that JH is trying to rob her. The policeman asks XJ to leave while he will bring JH to police station. Then XJ goes back to the hospital.
Apparently, Mr.Du has decided to bring Ms.Li (who is actually XJ) to live with him. In the Mr.Du’s house, she uses JR’s old room.
JH decides to go back home and when he is in his brother’s old room, he hears some voices…he is so surprised when he saw XJ. Again, he is calling XJ a thief and trying to drags her out. By that time, the housemaid comes in and tells her that the woman is actually JR’s wife. JH is so shocked and says sorry to XJ. XJ is crying and in shock. He asks JH to get out of the room.
At night, XJ has a bad dream again, and suddenly she remembers that her name is Xiao Jun not Ms.Li. And that’s the ending of eps.1^^.
