| Joseph and Mary Ann were married on the 29th April 1818 at the Old Church, St Pancras, London. Joseph was a silk manufacturer, following in the footsteps of his ancestors. Joseph was a widow (first wife unknown) they had a daughter Sarah Walters b 13th June 1806 Mary Ann was a widower, previously married to James Foot, he had died in 1815, she had a son James Abraham Foot. James Abraham Foot b 1812 Islington d 22nd November 1887 Barrister and Solicitor, educated at Cambridge University, graduating on the 21st June 1834 Their children were:- Charlotte Mary Walters b 12th April 1819 Edmonton, Middlesex married Henry James Slack 1841 d 1907 Croydon, Surrey Joseph Walters b 10th July 1820 Edmonton, Middlesex Harriet Walters b 9th February 1822 Edmonton, Middlesex married Gottlieb Friedrich Rufenacht d 1907 Leeds, Yorkshire Eliza Ann Walters b 29th December 1823 Duck Lane, Edmonton, Middlesex d 1912 Leeds, Yorksire Frederick Walters b 16th August 1825 Finsbury, Middlesex married Maria Elsie Rufenacht d 1898 Marylebone Charles Walters b 1827 d 1832, buried New Gravel Pit, Presbyterian Meeting House of Paradise Fields, Hackney St John. Joseph died 2nd September 1834 and is buried at the New Gravel Pit, Presbyterian Meeting House of Paradise Fields, Hackney St John. Mary Ann died September 1846 and is buried at Christ Church, Spitalfields, they were living in Wheeler Street, London. |
