Ribbons and Rhinestones (RNR) was founded as a prepratory and practice system for those contestants wanting to or competing at the state and national level. We will provide a variety of pageants to give you practice in all areas and provide the best judges we possibly can to give you exceptional feedback! These pageants are all geared to provide the opportunity to practice, learn and prepare for the larger pageants while having a good time and making new friends.
We view our roaylty as family and encourage them to move on to state and national level pageants, while knowing they are welcome "home" to practice. Rules will be set for each type of pageant and derived from numerous state and national systems. You will find everything from natural to glitz, interview to talent, runway modeling to pro-am here!
Starting with Bring on the Bling in May 2006, contestants will start earning "rhinestones". These rhinestones may be used as "money" for discounts on pageants or to "pay" for door overalls. The exchange rate of these will vary from pageant to pageant but will be included on the forms page. Your rhinestones will also be used to determine our queen of the year.
If you are looking for large trophies to dust, we're not your system. I'm a crown girl. One thing you can count on is the best crown that I can get with the deposits I have in. This is why we request a small deposit with your entry. The more deposits we have in, the better the awards will be. You won't go home with just a crown, though. You will have something to let you know what you've won along with a gift. So far the gifts have been crown pins and cute logo tees!
