How it relates to the Theme?
The purpose of the multi-functional desk is to generate a more comfortable environment for one whom is using the desk in school and it also helps one by reducing the amount of books one has to carry back and forth. One needs a more comfortable environment because it will enable him to concentrate on his studies better. The multi-functional desk will make sure that all papers are neatly organized in the plastic file that is placed on the door of the book-box. The multi-functional desk also helps one to reduce the number of books by allowing the pupil to store their books in the book-box that the desk provides specially for storing necessary things inside. The desk has a lock that locks up the book-box so the items inside it would not get stolen.
How it relates to Science?
The material of the desk is laminated fiberboard which is strong, durable and waterproof. The book-box is made of solid plastic that is also strong and durable. The legs are made of steel so it is strong enough to hold a heavy load.
How our product relates to D&T?
We like the design that we saw on the website: www.schooloutfitters.com as we think it was unique. We did some modifications and we came out to our very own model- The multi-functional desk.
