I hope this site gives you some insight into the work and heart of what my life is based around. The most important thing is that God the Father and His Son Jesus are exalted higher than any one person mentioned throughout the pages of this site. He is the reason I breathe, move, and even exist on this earth. Without Him I would be nothing.  Psalm 139

News.. news.. news..!!

September 18, 2004
Gee, how time flies! Only four more months left in this quickly passing year. Incredible! Well, yes the summer has been over for more than a month, and I have kept busy playing for Compass Church in Athens, 141 student ministry in Cumming, the Baptist Student Union at NGCSU, and other various events around town. I'll be performing just a few dates this fall with local entertainer Mike Rogers, and I'll be doing an accoustic performance at the
Cumming Country Fair on Saturday, October 9th from 4:30 - 5:30pm.
I'm very excited in that the Chris Orr Band will start recording the new project this next weekend. I will admit I'm just a little nervous. We have several new songs, some that I possibly haven't even heard yet, so it will be interesting to see how everything melds together. It will also be the first time in 5 years that i'll be in a real studio and the very first time doing a full project. I do ask that you keep us in your prayers over the next weeks as we get this thing off the ground.
Ok... enough for now... more later!

My appologies for not updating more often. God has been doing great things in the midst of personal trials. April and May slowed things down a bit, mainly working and playing for the 141 student ministry. But not to fret! June 1st kicks off the busiest summer I could ask for. Chris, Matt, Nick, Brandon, and I will be practicing for a couple days, then we take off on June 3rd for Talladega, AL to play for Student Life. Then we'll come back near home to play at Impact, right here in Taccoa, GA. After a week off, we'll head up to Ohio and back down to Jeckyl Island. Check out the schedule page for a continued schedule of events! I'll do my best to continue to add posts as the summer goes on. Hope you all are incredibly blessed this summer, and get lots of sun!... Cyalaterbye!!

Well the holdiays are finally over. I spent the Christmas holiday at my sister's home in Little Elm, TX (see picture to the left) and after returning home promptly turned around to go to Seneca Lake, OH with Chris for a youth winter retreat with the State Convention of Baptist's in Ohio. We had an incredible time of ministry and fellowship. I must say, though that I was very dissapointed that I did not get to see any snow.

Now halfway through January, the next several months promise to be very, very busy. Through February and March I'll be playing nearly every weekend with Chris at various youth retreats and Disciple Now Weekends. Along with those I'll be playing regularly with the 141 student ministry and several college ministries in the area. God has blessed me incredibly this year with the opportunities to minister in worship, and I'm very greatful to the people that have opened those doors for me.
