Discolite is the name of Rhythm Barrel's regular column that is published in every issue of the Finnish written SUE magazine, which can be said to be a montly magazine nowadays, with the largest printrun in rock magazines in Finland (it's a free tabloid distributed pretty well around the country). The column deals with guitar pop, largely and freely conceptualized. There's usually a theme in every issue (like 'women in pop', or label specials), and one of the objectives of the column is to support the pop scene in Finland (act locally, think globally), so there's a glimpse at local bands quite often.
