little 'ol me
I'm about 5'5" in height. I'm quite curvy and not skinny by any stretch of the imagination, and I'm slowly becoming okay with this. That being said, I'm not fat, it's just my body shap. I have uber-thick waist length, medium brown hair that has dark gold, natural highlights depending on what light I'm in. My hair is my pride and joy, I'm growing it out for grad, after which I plan to get it all braided. And seeing as at least 2 people have threatened my with beatings if I dye it, I'm going to get putple synthetic hair braided in. My eyes are slightly more green than hazel, and pretty normal looking. I have two piercing in the lobes of each ear and one in the cartilage of my left ear (as of a couple days ago). 3 of these holes were made with hypodermic needles either by my granny or my cousin. In the next couple of weeks I plan to get another hole punched in my left ear. In the next year I plan on getting an industrial in my right.
I wear mostly black, to school at least. I don't see the need to dress up for the people there seeing as I hate most of them anyway. I wear a studded collar and matching bracelette everyday and feel naked if I forget them.
I would much rather move to music than to silence, or everyday noises. My musical tastes range from classical to punk, from country to metal. I can honestly say that I like music from every "category" I've ever heard. (Yes, there are a precious few pop songs that I love.) I can sing certain rock and roll oldies by heart, I'm talking Bobby Darrin and Dion. The C.D. that's been living in my C.D. player for the past week is the soundtrack to The Crow: Salvation. The week before it was parachutes by Coldplay, which I think is going to be making a comeback in the next five minutes.
The movies I watch are just about as varied as the music I listen to. In the past few weeks I've been watching faliy (for lack of a better word) movies from the 80's. Labyrinth, Legend, The Dark Crystal, Ladyhawk, that sort of thing, but I'm a die hard vampire fan, be it movie or book. I've got a list of vampire movies I need to watch. I'm also a sucker for chick flicks, especially ones with Sandra Bullock.
As for the books I read, I'm quite picky. I don't read books that don't have magic of one kind or another in them. I refuse to read smut books, even if they have vampires in them. I really don't mind books that have some romance in them, but I don't like too much. I like horror and fantasy the most. Tight now my two favorite authors are Laurrel K. Hamilton and Stephen King.
My favorite colour is plum, this is the colour of the bed, I'm going to paint my room this colour too. I love making things. I love cooking and baking for my friends. I like painting and crafting too. The only problem is I don't see myself as creative, I have a hard time coming up with ideas. I know it's something I need to practice, but I'm not a patient person. I'm also stubborn, quick tempered, judgemental (I'm working on this one) and I have a short attention span. I'm obsessed with thrifting. I'm not comfortable being in large groups of people I don't know. Most of my friends have either graduated already, or go to other schools, so I'm pretty much alone. I'm very lazy and don't apply myself to much. I love coffee and tea, when I'm at home I usually have a cup of one or the other in my hand or nearby. Sometimes I just like to be with my friend, not talking, just being with them. I need someone to cuddle with. I'm looking for a boy who won't want to je "just friends" after they get to know me. I plan on the week after I turn 18 to be a blur.
