P.O.B.Y.A.C. - the RHUL Hockey Club magazine
P.O.B.Y.A.C. is the Hockey Club's unofficial magazine which is published once a year for the Annual Dinner.
The letters stand for something unprintable but those who do not know can probably guess quite easily!
Obviously hockey is a game which
involves a lot of jumping on top of your opponent whilst flashing your knickers to everybody.
We can all sympathise with the over-enthusiastic player, who doubtless suffers many a grazed elbow
from the sythetic turf. The local casualty and burns unit probably has its own hockey club ward!

Sometimes rolling on top of an opponent is not enough to create the 'underwear effect' and more
innovative ways of flashing must be adopted. Of course some umpires may take a dim view of this. As
they say, 'Practice makes perfect'.

We are always grateful for any material you think may benefit the magazine. - Obviously, material
of a 'graphical nature' is what's required here, so any gossip about team members or their partners
is vital.
Please send in all your jokes, photographs, stories, viscious rumours and tragic love conquests.
We'd love to include them in the next issue. Contributions should be sent to
committee members who will pass it to the magazine
editors.
