Corey found Oreo by the railroad tracks one day while he was out on his motercycle. The little kitten was so tiny that Corey was able to bring him home inside of a Burger King cup. We watched him bounce around our backyard and christened him Oreo because he was black and white. I don't know what year that was in, or how long he stayed with us. He liked to hide under the bed and attack our feet when when we made the bed. Or if we'd drape our hair over the back of the couch, he'd attack it. He was pretty vicious and I had scratches all over my arms and face from him. He and Peaches did not get along very well, and Oreo did not have any nicknames, although he did get a nifty "call" which we'd yell when we wanted him--"Or-eeee-oh?" He loved to watch TV, propping up his paws on the rim of the TV and jerking his head back and forth as he watched what was going on. He stuck around the house for a long time and was a lot of fun, participating in the whole yarn-chasing deal and also liking to eat Animal Crackers as much as Peaches did. However, when our next-door-neighboors found a rabbit nest with babies in their backyard, they asked us to keep our cats out, and Oreo was put on a leash. He hated this so much that as soon as he could, he escaped, ran away, and never returned, although sometimes after that we caught sight of a black and white cat running across the backyard or climbing the fence.
