1952 Schwinn Phantom
Here is what it looked like the first day that I took it home.  I purchased it at an Antique store in Salida, CA for $275.  Even though the picture makes it look really good, it really wasent in that great of shape.  Rusty chrome EVERYWHERE, all the bearings were shot, and the rear rack, seat, pedals, and wheels were all wrong.  None of them were Schwinn.  But that will soon be fixed.
So here is the bike torn down to just the frame and nothing else.  All of the chrome parts are at the chrome shop getting redone.  It sure is gong to look nice when I get it back together!
Happy 54th Birthday Phantom!  This is what she looked like on her big 54.  None of the parts had arrived back from the chrome shop yet, so she was still in shape.  The only part that I had got back so far was the powder coated seat frame, and from this pic, which I took on my cammera phone, dosent even show it.
