| Ready to get going? Just follow these steps... Step 1) As a group, decide on a list of things you want in a pet. Think of things like: someone to go for long walks with, someone who won't make a lot of noise in the house, someone who won't shed a lot, or someone who will be able to play outside with you in the winter. Take at least 2 minutes to talk about why you shouldn't adopt an exotic pet. What kinds of animals are exotic pets? What kinds of animals are domestic pets? Step 3) Find out about some domestic animals that you might want to have as pets. Divide the research up between your group members - but make sure you're all doing an equal amount of work!
