Spay or Neuter Surgery ($54.00 - $210.00)

There are too many pets and not enough homes.  That is why so many pets end up at the Humane Society.  Some of them will be adopted into a loving home, but some will never be that lucky.  Sadly, when there are not enough homes, some pets have to be euthanized (put down or put to sleep).

The best solution to this problem is for people to have their pets spayed or neutered.  Spay surgery is for females, and neuter surgery is for males.  The spay or neuter surgery makes a pet unable to have babies.  It also helps to prevent certain illnesses for your pet - even some kinds of cancer.
The cost of spaying or neutering depends on what kind of pet you have.  These are the minimum costs to have your pet spayed or neutered if you live in Regina. It can cost even more depending on your pet's needs.

Female Cat:  $96.00

Male Cat: $54.00

Male Puppy (under 6 months old): $96.00

Female Puppy (under 6 months old): $105.00

Female Dog: $210.00 (or $105.00 if she was adopted from the Regina Humane Society)

Male Dog: $192.00 (or $96.00 if she was adopted from the Regina Humane Society)
