is a nice city. I was born there. So I know how it is down there. First
of all its not a rich country. Sri Lanka is situated in South Asia, in the
Indian Ocean. It is just on the bottom of India.
The languages spoken there are Sinagalese, Tamil and English; those are the official languages spoken. The four main religions are Boudhist, Hinduism, Christianity and Islam. The population is more than 500 000 people. The Climate is hot. The Capital is Colombo, Colombo is a great city, lots of hotels. Jaffna is great too because mostly tamil people live there and its great. In Sri Lanka theres big mountains. It is very tropical all over the place. There is a lot of Temples. There is still a war down there, but we are hoping that it will end soon. The is two section that Sri Lanka was divided it is Tamil Eelam and Ceylon. Sri Lanka is part of a British Colony. The best tea is found in Sri Lanka. It has a good business for that. Also the crabs are good. Sri Lankans live all over the world. Mostly they are found in India, Singapore, Europe, Canada and USA.
