| Being an archeologist takes a lot of work. You need to be patience and must be ready to take any risks. As you probably know that archeologists travel a lot. They go all around the world to find ancient fossils or tombs etc. Archeologists have the patience and time to go around the world. It could take years to find what they are looking for. You see archeologists have a specific thing or item to find. It could take 4-5 years just to uncover a mummies tomb or ancient Pharos items. There are many things to discover like for example tombs, Dinosaur fossils, ancient items, ancient temples even ancient jewelry. It can be really hot or really tight or even really cold, depends the environment of course. Archeologists have to spend a lot of time away for their family because they got to go half way around the world. They don't always have to take the assignments given to them but after three times of refusing assignments they have to go. Rarely archeologists have a family or at least children. You might think that it's very boring going to Africa or Egypt etc, but if you discover something ancient you can become famous, rich you name it. Sometimes I watch movies with Archeologists in it and sometimes kids who's parents are Archeologists don't see their parents for more than two years. That is very sad, thank god after they get back from their "mission" they get a nice long break. Then they start all over again. I know it sounds boring but it's fun, you get to learn about new Countries, learn new languages and make new friends. I know if I became an Archeologist I'd Know I would die knowing I made a difference in the world " I hope." Some Archeologists go into a cave not knowing what will happen, maybe they'll catch an ancient curse who knows but they except to take the risk. That's how an archeologists life can be dangerous. If you are a dangerous, daring and a risk taking person who doesn't care what happens then your life might be an archeologist's. Who knows. Well I think this is a great profession for me.
