Pediatricians have to go to college like all other people who wants to be a pediatrician including me.  Medical school is usually 4 years long and you end up with a degree and your already are a doctor.

Becoming a pediatrician  you needs lots of precious hours so sometimes you have to leave your family and do work. To be a pediatrician, it is very long and at the same time  your wasting your time and energy. However, the idea is that by the time this is over. You will enjoy every step of it.
 

Oh! ya also becoming a pediatrician you need to have confidence in yourself. While you are working you are watched by a real pediatrician, he or she is quite like a teacher to you, called an attending physician, this is a person that has already finished their test. If you want to become a general pediatrician and not sub-pediatrcian, then you are done with formal training. If you want to subsitude in another area for example, working with kids with cancer, or something with blood, or heart problems, then you will have more training called a fellowship, this is how much time and years it takes to become a pediatrician.
