To be quite honest, I don't really know yet. I get to know her more and more each and every day. I am a person who enjoys life very much and all its wonders. In fact many people say I think and analyze things too much. Perhaps that is why I wound up in the career I did. I am a social service worker, and believe me it took me quite awhile to choose that profession. I didn't go to college till I was almost 30 (a late bloomer I call myself) I decided to wait until my children were well planted in school. I read alot of self help books which I find very rewarding on my path to self discovery. People often spend too much time trying to understand others, or figure them out, when in fact the time would be much better spent on themselves, in my own humble opinion, of course :-) |

Friends have always been an important part of my life and I enjoy spending time with them. Whether it is a group event or two of us enjoying a quiet conversation, I know it will be an enjoyable time. You can learn more about my friends on my friends page :-) |

As for my hobbies and interests, I enjoy reading,gardening, crafts, poetry, the paranormal, my family tree, this computer takes up alot of my time :-) but I have met some really great people on here too, movies, the outdoors, and crafts. |

I would consider myself shy until I get to know you. Unless of course, something really bothered me that you said or did, then I can get the "nerve" to speak up early on. I dislike public speaking of any kind. A pet peeve of mine would be people not waiting their turn. I guess I am a pretty opinioned person, but I seldom offer my opinions unless asked for---I find this safer. Religiously speaking, I believe there is a God but classify myself as non-denominational. I am a Libra and like my sign I do like balance and peace in my life. |

I enjoy spending time to myself. I guess you could say I like my own company :-) During this time I enjoy writing poetry and I often do this outdoors. I also enjoy soaking in a hot bubble bath with lots of scented candles burning around me. It is my way of blocking the world out. A stress reliever too! I don't really open up to too many people unless the trust is there and it takes a fair bit of time before the trust develops. I like to try and figure things out on my own and I guess this is why I spend time with myself. I write alot in journals also as a way to help in figuring things out. I believe a journal helps people see how far they have come when they look back on them. |

| Recently, I have begun losing alot of weight, and also have realized that life is going to be different as a "lighter" person. People treat you different, even though really I am the same person I was 30, 40, 50 etc. pounds ago. I have always allowed the weight to hold me back from many things, really it affected my self esteem. I really pay attention now to the people that would hardly notice me as a BBW but now as I "fit" more into their world they are willing to offer me they company. By paying attention, I mean I am much more aware. It really is a shame that they miss out on all the wonderful people that they block out of their world~~~~their loss I guess. After a 13 year marriage, I really believed I never would find love again. But much to my pleasure I found Rich :-) He is much better matched for me. We have been together since August of 2000 and every day it gets better. I really believe he is my soul mate as I have never felt as comfortable to be myself with anyone like I do with him. He has been hurt many times in the past, yet it has not changed his sweetness. He makes me feel wonderful, like I am the greatest woman alive. I'm so happy we found each other---that way neither of us has to be hurt ever again and we don't have to face this cruel world alone. |
