| Wouldn't it be great to have superpowers? You could fly or lift a train with just the power of your mind. It'd be fantastic. Unfortunately, we don't have these powers. They are for fictional characters only, and turn up mostly in the worlds of superheroes and supervillains. But it's fun to watch or read about them doing the stuff that you can't. Well, unless you get really drunk. Then you sometimes think you can. Maybe I should devote part of this page on those known as superheroes to our rather pathetic attempts to emulate them. Hmmm. |
