A great little pond and waterfall about an hour drive from Neiba, my last area.  Those of you visiting this site that served in the La Fe Zone for Christmas 1992 should recognize the "jersey" I'm wearing in this photo...ah, those were the days.

This is an old industrial dock in Barahona...the furthest south I had been during my two years on the island.  Pictured are: (left to right) Jorge Brito, Destry Taylor (my comp), myself, and Stephen Bulpitt.

It was always a comforting site to be riding a bus so packed with people, you're wearing their clothes, and you look up and see your driver, speeding down the carretera, guzzling a Cerveza Presidente.  There's nothing like a liquored-up bus driver first thing in the morning.  Right?
