| NightWorld Welcome to NightWorld. This is a game based on the NightWorld series by the author L.J Smith. For those of you who have read the books, this will be taking place before the Millennium, and before the Wild Powers are found. We might get to that eventually. For those of you who haven't read the books... The NightWorld isn't a place. It's all around us. It's a secret society of vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and witches, and other creatures of the darkness that live among us. They're beautiful, deadly... And irresistible to humans. Your high school teacher could be one, and so could your boyfriend or girlfriend. The NightWorld laws say it's ok to hunt humans. It's ok to toy with their hearts. It's even ok to kill them. There are just two things you can't do with them. 1) Never let them find out that the NightWorld exists. 2) Never fall in love with them. The NightWorld Council, made up mostly of witches and vampires, has gone through great lengths to keep these rules in commission. They have wiped out entire human towns to keep the NightWorld a secret. They have killed NightWorlders in very painful fashions for betraying the secret or falling in love with humans. They hunt Circle Daybreak, an organization of humans, vampires, witches, shifters, and werewolves that want very much to live in piece with the humans. Welcome to the NightWorld.
