The History
RAZIS actually was develop based on the requirement of the original RAZIS programmer's friend (the initiator). Original requirement are :
To develop a software that capable to send and receive SMS for conducting games, quiz and contest. After the development complete, Improvement been made to cater the needs of one of the ISP in Malaysia to handle their after sales service (Help Desk). Where the client could submit report either through web page or through SMS. When the server receive the message it will route to person whose in-charge in the client's location. If the complaint is not resolve within define hours, the message will be route to their supervisor, and if still not resolve it will route to General Manager and if still not resolve, it will go to the president. Everyone could view the message through the webpage or from their mobile phone regardless who is their mobile operator.
After the development complete, there is a new requirement from one of his friend to develop Campus Management System wherethe client interface of the software should be run on webbrowser (LAN or WAN but can only accessed certain information) and also on Win32 (for LAN connection - with better security). So what do he do? Instead of creating campus management system, he develops a software that could generate any HTML code that could read, update, delete and add from any database and also a web server. When the software complete, and at the beginning of creating Campus Management System intreface, he got a bad news, which is the project cancelled. After spending 6 months and lots of money on the development, the project cancelled. Can you imagine?
Later the initiator make a decision to find a job (starting on April 2003). After a month there is no reply (at that moment whole world suffer SARS desease and with US resession and invasion), with bad thing happened around the globe, you can say everything goes against him. To forget all of the misery, he spend most of his time in front of his notebook and start modifying the Campus Management System to some other software that he don't event know yet. At the mean time, his wife want to develop a web page for her Cooking class and she don't even know a thing about HTML, luckily she know how to used Word Processor. Based on that requirement, he develop a simple word processor that can convert RTF file to HTML file. Along the line, there are comments and new thing required by his wife, such as
- Capture any picture on the screen and save. The result must be able to viewed from the web page. That how Intel jpeg is in the application.
- FTP client, she need to send the files to her web server. That how some of vbip source code in the application.
- FTP server, he want to test whether developed FTP client works or not.
- During the development, he need to connect to internet, connecting using Windows 2000 built in proxy give him the problem (may be infected by virus because sometime he couldn't connect to internet), so he create HTTP proxy and intend to enhaced it to Sock4 and Sock5 later.
Now, (end of August 2003), he thinks that why not sell the software and get help form other programmers or small investor that might get interested to help him complete the development of the software. That is how he met me and I could come out with this idea and present it for you to read, evaluate and purchase.
