Nature inspires Harding & his work inspires us. His work is not an equivalent for nature, rather it belongs to nature. In an aseptic art gallery, his work is nature, in a public square his work is nature, in nature his work is nature.this is his magic. Man as creator versus man as destroyer.
In the globalisation of a fragmented world where we are watched & blended into a cultural sameness, it seems logical that there should be artists who wish to transmit to us other feelings, that send us back to our origins, feelings of vitality & sensual enjoyment, aesthetic pleasure, not as flight but as affirmation of life against dehumanisation, speed & unbridled consumption.
