Underworld's rules are simple, yet we abide by them VERY strongly. Failure to do so will cause your posts to be deleted by Post Official Prime, and the powers that be will determine your fate. The rules are easy enough to follow:

1.) You control YOUR character, and YOUR character only.

In your posts, there is a very little amount you can do with another's character... You might lead them by the hand, which they can easily pull back from in a response post. You can take something from them, but within reason. It'd be unlikely for a person to steal an item of clothing, but quickly grabbing something from their hand is a different story. But you should always check with the character's player before you do something. But speaking for someone is not allowed.

2.) Be fair!

There are NO STATS in this roleplaying game. We aren't in it to
'win,' to take over the world, or anything like that. For the most part, we play on Underworld for the enjoyment of writing, the fun of developing characters, and the sheer enjoyment of playing an important character in an ever-changing world. Our characters fight, sure, but we don't kill or debilitate other characters without direct consent from a character's player. We're relatively tight knit, and most of us have communicated with someone else from Underworld in some way or another, whether it be Out Of Character notes, book ideas, or just chatting.

3.) Combat

Because we have no stats, combat is a little touchy. Fights are usually
planned out ahead of time in emails between players, or it is played very slow, attack by attack. Your character can't be invincible, it's impossible and tacky. Be realistic, and be fair. Your character should be injured and lose fights (if they even have any) every once in a while. You'll find that searching for combat will get you nowhere. And don't try to fight to make yourself stronger. Your character may be more skilled, but not through any stat gain. You'll get no experience points. As I said before, this isn't about being superpowerful. It's about having fun.

4.) NO FLAME POSTS.

Outright insults to other players will NOT be tolerated, and the posts will be PROMPTLY deleted, as might your character. If you dislike someone's player, good for you. Keep it outside of the posts, and no
one will mind. Realize that a player and a character are different things... If two characters are at odds, that's normal. They're allowed to hate each other. Just don't take it OOC. You're allowed to have your own opinions, sure, but we try to keep Underworld as friendly as possible.
