This is a brief story of Lethornid, a High Elf Bard and member of the Sure Valor guild. Lethornid was born and raised in the hills outside of Qeynos, by a kind couple who found him abandoned on the ship coming from Odus. Once he became of age, he disregarded his foster parents' wishes that he become a city guard and began studying under the various bards passing through the small guild in town. Many wondrous tales were passed on to him by travelers from afar, and it wasn't long before Lethornid embarked on his own journey. After some time, he came upon the Elven homeland of Kelethin, and made his home there. Since then Lethornid has gone on many adventures, been to every continent, and even ventured onto the small moon of Luclin and different planes. It was on one such trip that he met Lanse, a kind warrior who invited him into the guild which he now calls his family. He carries their name proudly, upholding the virtues of truth and honor above all. A devoted follower of Karana, helper of those in need, and a die-hard explorer, Lethornid goes wherever the rains take him. 2/21/03 Check out the pic of the week... 2/18/03 Thank You Tianne! I met our kind and noble leader, Tianne, for the first time today, and she assisted me in my ventures to rid the Lake of Ill Omen of Goblins (and cats, and skeletons, and Iksar, and Sarnaks...). In the midst of all this excitement, I gained songs of the 20th skill level. Lethornid is now an official mana battery! WooT!!! 1/15/03 Sweatin' at the Forge... I finally mastered blacksmithing, and after spending countless hours at the goblin camps in Butcherblock (and selling heads, blood, and coins for 5p a piece or so) managed to make a complete set of Ornate Electrum Chain Mail. At this point, I'm putting smithing on hold, since the cost is going up exponentially and the platinum in my bank isn't. Back to leveling... Bards... Song Analysis Sheet - This thing is amazing. It's an excel file with every bard song on it. It has all of the effects, and exactly what and how much they do at each level, with every instrument in the game (as of when it was made) factored in. A must have for bards or anyone who is interested. 403 Kb |
