It's been a while since the last update. We want to start having meetings and organise actions/activities more regularly again. This website also needs a big update because a lot of the info is outdated... So far, I added some tips for interesting books to the links page.

This is what we've been up to lately: Last year in February some of us set up a "Ladies' Room" in Z33 during Ruimte Te Gebruiken. There, during a zine workshop, we made our second zine, also called Ladies' Room.

On several occasions we've done infostands: for example at Beleuvenissen Radical and Ladyfest Brussels.

On Sunday March 2nd we'll have a riot grrrl collective meeting. We get together at the train station in Hasselt at 15:00 and talk about future activities, watch a DIY feminist documentary and if it's sunny, have a picnic.

Some upcoming feminist events: on women's day March 8th 2008 there will be a riot grrrl picnic in Brussels and a collective feminist infostand at the alternative bookfair in Gent. On April 18th there will be another Ladyfest in Brussels and on April 19th there will be a second Ladyfest in Liège. The queers in Brussels will organise a queer festival in April called Transformer and in Gent there will be a one-day festival called Pimp Your Queer on February 16th. More info here.
 

april 24th 2006:

After a long break, we're back! There are now riot grrrl stickers available here. We're going to make re-usable cotton pads (stoffen maandverbanden) and the second issue of the Riot Not Diet zine.
We were invited to participate in some way at Ladyfest Rotterdam. What we will do exactly still needs to be decided. We're also still thinking about organising a DIY day, an exhibition, actions... Let us know if you wanna help out with anything!
Kim has made a brilliant poster with instructions of how to make re-usable pads for the toilet of the squat in Hasselt.
There will be a Riot Grrrl Collectief/Echo info stand at the Boycot Marktrock festival in Leuven in August!
