EXAMINATION
Examination is the thorough visual inspection and assessment of
patients mouth, along with any necessary x-rays and or model casts.
Prior to that, medical information is obtained for a more guided
treatment. Patients are encouraged to inform us their health
conditions, medical history or existing illness and allergies for a
cautious treatment planning.
PREVENTIVE
Cleaning (Oral Prophylaxis) -
performed on patients who make regular dental visits and who do not
build up much calculus (tartar) and stain. The cleaning appointment
should be an easy visit. If a patient has had a long treatment gap
between dental visits, or if they tend to build up large amounts of
calculus or stain, or if their home care is lax, a cleaning may
not be appropriate. Conservative periodontal therapy may be the
treatment of choice.

CLEANING is an important
professional oral hygiene maintenance procedure that benefits gum and
supporting bone for a long-term sound condition of teeth and
restorations.
Sealants - highly effective on the biting surfaces of chewing
teeth; a simple procedure in which a
tooth-colored acrylic coating is painted onto the surface of the
tooth; this efficiently seals the deep grooves where decay is most
likely to start.
Fluoride Application - helps strengthen and protect teeth from
decay.
RESTORATIVE
We offer full scope of restorative treatment for decayed / broken
teeth. During routine clinical examination and cleaning, the dentist
will be able to detect and show you potential problems occurring in
your mouth, such as decay or fractured teeth. Often, a tooth will not
start to bother you until there is significant loss of tooth structure
or sensitivity. With thorough dental check-ups, problems can be
detected earlier, before you experience a toothache.
 Restorations can be done with
white filling, silver filling, or with a crown - depending on the
circumstances and patients preference.
Light-cure Composite (white) fillings - indicated for
restoration or filling of front teeth, esthetic areas and can be used
for filling back teeth, in one appointment.
Amalgam (silver) fillings - indicated for small to
medium-sized restorations of back teeth; direct one-day placement.
Inlays / Onlays - choice of ceramics and white metal;
for restoration of any teeth, particularly on back teeth; mold is
obtained and require and two meetings.
Temporary fillings - when cavities are quite deep and need to
be observed; this contains medicament for relief of pain or
sensitivity; this will help the teeth pulp(nerve) to repair itself,
avoiding the need for root canal therapy or extraction.
COSMETIC DENTISTRY
Helping patients look and feel better through esthetic &
cosmetic dentistry is our major focus. We will help you explore the
options on achieving a more attractive smile. For the smile you have
always wanted, our visuals allow you to preview what smile
transformation yours could look like:
and Tooth Color Enhancement - this will
brighten discolored or stained teeth; Dentist supervised bleaching
is the safest and most effective method to brighten your smile; we
offer a great take home bleaching system.
Bonding - the appearance of certain malformed or broken
teeth can amazingly be improved; bonding rebuilds chipped or cracked
teeth and covers stains, too; they can be used to close front teeth
gaps; and are shaped / polished well to look like a part of your
teeth -- we have a wide variety of available colors and shades for
this purpose.
Laminate veneers - a thin facing of porcelain or ceramics
is bonded to a tooth to change the color, shape or alignment.
Esthetic Tooth Reshaping -- for a more esthetic effect.
PROSTHETICS
Crowns (also called cap or jacket) - when a tooth
is fractured, badly decayed, broken down, heavily filled or discolored
- it is best restored with a crown; also recommended after root canal
therapy has been completed as the tooth tends to become brittle and is
more apt to fracture. Crowns can strengthen and protect the remaining
tooth structure and improve the appearance of teeth. A crown is
typically fabricated with a porcelain (a tooth-colored material).
Choice of all-porcelain crown or porcelain fused to metal.
Fixed Bridges - replace single or multiple missing teeth; they
are cemented in place and are often the restoration of choice for a
patient instead of a removable partial denture. Fixed bridges restore
teeth to normal function and improve the health of your mouth by
keeping the surrounding teeth in position and help maintain the
structure of your face and jaw.
Removable Partial Dentures - we provide meticulously and
esthetically crafted dentures. We believe that in constructing denture
to replace missing teeth - the prosthetic should help augment the
health of remaining teeth and gums; this is better accomplished by
getting exact impressions and fashioning most appropriate personalized
denture design.
Complete Denture - we understand that a denture is an
emotional experience. Helping you achieve that youthful look,
get that tight and comfortable fit, obtain nice & life-like
artificial teeth replacement, ease in chewing, and correct word/s
utterance --- are our prime goals in denture construction.

Many people believe that once they have dentures, they no
longer need regular dental care. Denture wearers require regular exams
to ensure their health, comfort and appearance. Gum tissues are in
constant state of change; remaining natural teeth may also have
undetected cavities.
Relining (for loose denture), Stayplates (non-clasp,
non-metal dentures) --- are available
Repairs - done on the same day
ENDODONTICS
Root Canal Treatment - if a tooths
pulp (nerve & blood supply) becomes infected or inflamed, root
canal therapy may only be way to save the tooth, instead of removing
it; the procedure consists of removing the nerve that lies within the
root of the tooth. We never encourage a one-sitting,
single-appointment root canal treatment, because healing and defense
mechanism of an individual is not achieved overnight. Practically, we
do careful assessment and case selection of teeth for root canal
therapy - for guaranteed long term success; A case may not always be
ideal; presence of abscess and anatomic variations add to the
difficulty.
PERIODONTICS
Routine Cleaning (Oral Prophylaxis) - an important
professional oral hygiene maintenance procedure that benefits gum and
supporting bone for a long term sound condition of teeth and
restorations. Cleaning should be done twice a year to remove deposits
adhering on teeth surfaces as well as the bacteria that settles in
there.
Scaling - deep cleaning to remove deeply-seated calculus
and deposits
Non-surgical treatment of mild to moderate periodontal (gum)
disease - Periodontal disease
is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults; we screen patients
for periodontal disease and provide conservative non-surgical therapy
for those patients for whom it is appropriate.
ORAL SURGERY
We provide a variety of minor oral surgery procedures; we are very
conservative in our treatment recommendation and limit surgery to the
areas where it is absolutely necessary.
gentle
Teeth Extractions - performed when
teeth cannot be saved or when they need to be removed for other
reasons, such as orthodontics (braces). We do gentle extractions in
our office and we will try to help you overcome any fears you may have
with our sincere concern for your comfort and tireless effort to
cultivate mutual understanding.
Surgical Extractions - removal of teeth may pose difficulty,
for instance an abscessed tooth, a brittle/fractured tooth, a tooth
firmly attached to bone (ankylosed), a widely spreaded tooth root -
are examples of anticipated complications in extracting tooth;
however, we try our best to minimize patients fear and discomfort
by doing the procedure the right and conservative way; with the aid of
x-ray, the sure and easy technique can be applied.
Removal of Impacted Wisdom Teeth - when they cause discomfort
and trouble on you.
(surgical extractions); we extract wisdom teeth, impacted molars,
fractured teeth/roof fragments, biopsy, soft and hard tissue surgery .

permanent teeth when a temporary tooth (especially molar) has
earlier been extracted to avoid future crowding or misalignment of
teeth

of temporary teeth is to be conservatively guided.
ORTHODONTICS
- after cleaning and check-up, a series of diagnostic
records is required for review and formulation of treatment plan.
