6. Albert Glassford (photo) was born in 1889 in Perth. No record in WA from 1 Jan 1888 to 31 Dec 1892 (letter from Register Gen Office dated 15 Feb 1978. He died on 17 Aug 1940 in St John of God Hospital, Subiaco Perth. (4) Injured in War 1914-18). For years he suffered from war injuries (eg. schrapnel fragments embedded in his jaw).

Died of Pneumonia and Toxaemia. Had been sick for 3 days.

Witnesses: Laura McDonald who was the guardian of Alice Vera and gave her consent for the marriage because Alice was a minor, and H W Phillips.
Alice, aged 18 (incorrect, actually born 20 March 1894, therefore aged 16 years and 4 months), waitress, living in Perth. Parent's: Lawrence Davis (d'cd) and Bridget Clancy (d'cd).

7. Alice Vera Maud Davis was born on 20 Mar 1894 in Women's Hospital, Smith Ward, Melbourne. Victoria.(6) She died on 27 May 1975 in Eleanor Merle Hospital, 23 Lawley Cres, Mt Lawley, Perth. (7) From copy of death Cert
aged 83 years.
Cause of death: Congestive cardiac failure (5 days), broncho pneumonia (7 days)
(contributory cause) deep vein thrombosis in left leg (5 days).

Born: Fitzroy, Vic (differs from details on Birth Cert which says Carlton).
Lived: Vic 3 years, WA 80 years.
