REY ADEL'S NOVEL
A SUICIDE NOTE
FROM A PRISONER
EPILOGUE

EPILOGUE

If I commit suicide, it won't really solve the problem. Previously I had contemplated on commiting suicide but not HARA-KIRI -- I'll be committing suicide not to death but to continue living. People generalize that in making suicide notes, the writer would cut out his life away fromm this living world, but I'm the exception to the rule. By writing that, "I am leaving you -- the world and the populace," I mean: I'm leaving the old world and the old people and would try to live in a new world with new people. "With all that sham, druggerry, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world". From another poem, I learned that truly "Life is queer, with its twists and turns . . . " and from a song, i realized that indeed, "Life is not at all that bad . . ."

Finally, I've counted my blessings and it outnumbered my failures. I still believe my proposition: "I'm unafraid of facing death because I'm unafraid of facing life." I would face life squarely -- eventhough there might be obstacles--twists or turns--I WON'T QUIT: "It's when things seem worst that I musn't quit!" May God bless me.

After all, I'm not a FOOL!
