ROMI, like Times of Refreshing Ministries, exists to bring TERMS to the world. It serves as a vehicle for churches, ministries, and ministers, who have no formal ecclesiastical or spiritual covering, to have a proper relationship to the Body of Christ. Affiliation with ROMI will afford these churches, ministries, and ministers the opportunity to demonstrate a greater partnership, accountability, and unity in advancing world evangelism and the governing principles of the Kingdom of God in the earth. ROMI is intended to be a response to the cry that has been heard, "LET THE LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, IN THE EARTH, BREAK FORTH".
It is the contention of Vicar Roston that we are now over 2000 years beyond the "last days". According to Jewish eschatology, the last days refer to the time period surrounding the advent of the Messiah. Since Jesus is the Messiah, we bear witness of the truth recorded in Acts 2: 16. In this passage of Scripture, Apostle Peter proclaimed, "But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh..." We are no longer operating in the last days; we are presently ministering at the end of time. As such, the quality of our ministry should reflect an acknowledgement of the time frame in which we are operating.
It is important for churches, ministries, and ministers to be
connected to, and a part of, something larger than themselves.
Just as the early Church was connected through the ministry of
the Apostles, so the Church the end of time must also be
connected through the ministry of the Apostles. As the office of
the Apostle was first instituted by Jesus, the Christ; it is now the
last to be restored by the move of the Holy Ghost in the Church,
at the end of time. Thus is the saying fulfilled, " the first shall be
last and the last shall be first".
ROMI is a spiritual & ministerial covering committed to exhibiting the true nurturing spirit of Apostolic Fatherhood. Vicar Roston ministers to equip, establish, encourage, counsel, and otherwise support his spiritual family specifically, and the Body of Christ, in general. He is determined to provide a model of integrity and purpose that is designed to help the Church position itself to fulfill the Great Commission. |
