TENETS OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE IN :

The Bible - The inspired, infallible, inerrant
Word of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is the
central figure in this book & it is the written
record of God's love relationship with mankind.

One Triune God - God is a Spirit & those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit & in truth. The Godhead is comprised of God the Father-Spirit; God the Son-Spirit; & God the Holy Ghost-Spirit...ALL GOD - ALL SPIRIT
John 4: 24; Genesis 1: 26; Genesis 2: 7; I John 5: 7

God the Father...Spirit - The Father, the first person of the Godhead, is the author & creator of all things. From eternity past, the Father designed all ages. He guards the present & guarantees the future. Genesis 1: 1-3

God the Son...Spirit - The Son, the second person of the Godhead, existed in eternity with the Father & was present at creation. He was the active agent of God in creation & even today sustains the existence of all things by the power of His being. He came out of eternity, through virgin birth, and entered our time & space. He lived & died as a human being & was resurrected by the power of God so that man can have eternal life. He never surrendered His nature as God; but shrouded His splendor in flesh & submitted to the limitations human nature imposed. John 1: 1-18, Philippians 2: 5-11, Luke 1: 26-35

God the Holy Ghost...Spirit - The Holy Ghost, the third person of the Godhead, existed in eternity with the Father & was present at creation. He is the active agent of God in the earth today. He is a gift, freely given & available to every believer. He gives the believer power to: witness; pray; be Christ-like; and to understand the Word of God.

Man - A triune being; a soul that has a spirit both of which live in a human body. Created perfectly innocent & in communion with God, man died spiritually & began to die physically as a result of Adam & Eve's disobedience. The "nature of sin" was passed on to all mankind because of this original sin. Man's spirit now needs to be born-again by repenting of sin & accepting Jesus Christ as Savior.
