Do you
want a
REVOLUTION?

Romans 6:1-12 reads,

"What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. If we have been united with Him like this in death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection. For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin - because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires."

Galatians 2:19-20 "For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ live in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

One more: Colossians 3:3,5,7,9-10 tells us, "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God...put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry...You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived...Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in the image of its Creator."

Did you know that, as Christians, we're called to be holy? 1 Peter 1:15-16 says, "For just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do. For it is written: 'Be holy, for I am holy.'" Leviticus 11:44-45 says the same thing. This isn't a suggestion - it's a COMMAND! From God, no less! He's not like, "Oh, well, since you say you believe in Me and all, I'll let ya slide...you don't have to do anything for Me." Not, "Try to be better"; BE holy!
