There are many problems in the world. Many are a governments fault but many are down to human nature.
If we are to live in freedom we Must do something about whats happening in our world.
Americas invasion of Iraq was illegal and has made thousands of people homeless not to mention the many innocent dead. Over 100000 at the last count.
The massive global corporations who exploit children to make a profit include big names like Nike and Reebok.
The amounts of poverty in Africa and South America not to mention the rest of the world go to show that the capitalist view is only good for the few and that their are many holes in the safety net provided for the many. In many countries there is no safety net at all. It is difficult no, almost impossible to find a form of government which is suitable for everyone both rich and poor. so why is the west continueing to only provide for the few rich and not to the majority of poor. In America an unbeleivable amount of people live in poverty or are unemployed by corporations cutting back for profit.
Socialism would cater for the many not just the few. it seems crazy to beleive that this form of government will ever be fully elected but if we in scotland could perhaps get enough votes for the greens and the SSP, the SNP and the libdems they would be able to change things even just a little to help!! They could help on the world front as well. The trading inequalities caused by the west must be ironed out. The tools of world trade(the IMF and world bank) are completely unjust and just help rich western businesses get richer while poor countries starve under harsh dept repayments. Do what you can to help!
