North Huntingdon Township and Keith C. Evers, Building/Zoning Officer Forced the cancelation of all Religious Services |
A church is an association of people with a common set of religious beliefs, respectively their place of worship.
The Good News: Our church membership has outgrown the size of the church.
The Bad News: We can not accept any new members or guests until we enlarge the church.
As Spiritual Humanists we believe that every person has innate right to make a spiritual connection to the rest of the cosmos. Our premise is simple:
All humans have an inalienable right and duty to practice their own religious traditions. Spiritual Humanism allows everyone to fuse their individual religious practices onto the foundation of scientific humanist inquiry. We accept people from any religious background and recognize the validity of all peaceful religious practices and behaviors as being helpful and necessary in developing the spiritual nature of humanity.
Reverend John and his wife entered into an Article of Agreement to purchase the property at 4500 Turner Valley Rd. Irwin, Pa. therefore making this a permanent location for our church.
It took a lot of time and a lot of hard work, but Reverend John, his wife, their kids, and with the help from others, converted it into their private home and a church now known as The Church of Spiritual Practice.
