Reveler Philanthropy
An integral part of the Reveler Social Club is our commitment to community service.  We participate in numerous civic activities throughout the year.  In fact, Revelers even has a minimum service hour requirement for all of its members.  Please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with the philanthropies that we support
For the past two years, Revelers has taken part in the Central Mississippi Down Syndrome Society's annual Buddy Walk.  The walk aims to promote awareness, education, and acceptance of persons with Down Syndrome.  Pictured is our buddy, Morgan, niece of Lesley Norwood #13.  Please visit their webpage for more information.
Every year since the 1960s, the Revelers have put on an Easter Egg Hunt for the children and families at the Palmer Home for Children.  The kids and the members all have a wonderful time, and we continue to support this wonderful center.  Please visit their webpage for more information on the Palmer Home.
Revelers support the American Salvation Army, and ring bells to raise money for the organization every Christmas season.  Click here for more information about the Salvaion Army.
We proudly support the Columbus Arts Council.  Executive Director of the arts council, Heather Rowland, is a Reveler Alum.  Click here to visit the council's webpage
We support MUW's Center for Creative Learning, a foundation formed to provide research, service, and learning oppertunities for K-12 students and teachers alike.  MSP Director at the center Sarah Sumners is not only a Reveler alum but also our current sponsor.  Please visit the CCL's webpage for more information.
One of the most fun civic activites that we take part in is walking dogs at the Columbus Humane Society.  This activity is fun and rewarding not only for the girls, but for the dogs as well!  Click here for more information about the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society.
