| Rev. C. S. Louis is an ordained minister of the Progres- sive Universal Life Church, the Church of Universal Light, the Spiritual Humanist Church, and is the High Most Unctious Cleric of the Metaphysical Universalist Church Association (making her the High MUC of the MUCA). She holds the following degrees and certifications: >Doctor of Divinity from PULC in Sacramento, California >Master of Arts in Metaphysical Studies from PULC in Sacramento, California >Bachelor of Science in Communications from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio >Associate of Science in Audio-Video Production from Southern Ohio College, Cincinnati, Ohio >Associate of Science in Technical Management from Community Colleges of the Air Force, Sembach, Germany >Associate of Science in Small Business Management from City Colleges of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois >Associate of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design from UC's College Conservatory of the Arts >Certified Rational Behavior Therapist, State of Ohio >Certified Hypnotherapist, States of Ohio, Indiana, and California Louis is a graduate of Jose Silva's Mind Mastery(TM), and studied under Silva himself in the 1960's. She also studied Paranormal Phenomena, becoming skilled at Past Life Regression, under Connie Griffith, an associate of Hans Holzer, the renowned ghost hunter. In the 1970's, she served as a Field Trainer for the Association for Research & Enlightenment, Inc. (also known as the Edgar Cayce Foundation), and studied Yoga, Transcendental Meditation, and Metaphysical Dream Interpretation, becoming an expert in the latter. During her work with the ARE, she helped to found 22 Search For God metaphysical study groups throughout the US and Europe, and gave more than 50 workshops on Dreams and Dreaming. Additionally during the 1970's, she completed Levels I & II of the Independent Study for Spiritual Growth of the Lucis Trust, Inc., and began preliminary studies for entry into the Episcopal priesthood. She also studied Comparative Religions, and briefly became Quaker, Christian Scientist, Buddhist, and Humanist. In the 1980's, after three intensive years of study for the Episcopal priesthood, she determined that all the major world religions were too narrow and patriarchal for her tastes, and she explored the various Goddess, Native American, and Pagan paths: Wicca, Asatru, Celtic, Teutonic, Greco-Roman, and Druidic. During this time, she developed her psychic abilities further, and became a part-time practitioner of Astrology, Numerology, and Tarot, and became an active member of the Pagan Community Council of Ohio (PCCO). Finally, in 1994, she received her ordination in the PULC, and founded the MUCA. Now referring to herself as "...a confirmed Universalist with Druidic leanings...", Rev. Louis is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and serves as the Outreach Coordinator for the Lightsong Groups, a predominantly pagan metaphysical studies group which meets twice monthly in the Mammoth Cave area. |
