All you need to know about International College of Missions and Theology (Intercomath)
Preamble:
In 1978, God told Rev. Dr. C.C. Anyanwu, "You train any army for me and bring souls into the Kingdom."
This was taken to mean that he would teach both Sunday School and the church as a whole.  As at then, Rev. Chris was actively involved in the church as an auxiliary pastor and Sunday School Teacher.

As time progressed, through the help of the Holy Spirit and with the benefit of proper training he discovered that he has a Bible College and Missionary call.

In 1989, a clear ten years after the vision, an attempt was made setting up this college at Wukari, then Gongola State, but now Taraba State. This effort failed du largely to the fact that there was no fund for it.  What was eventually set up was it's correspondence unit for new converts and the course was being received by 2,000 students all over the federation.

In 1996, February 26, the college finally took off with a total of 12 new students in two flats in Amichi, in Nnewi South Local Goverment Area of Anambra state.  Today, the college has risen to over 100 students occupying six flats in Nnewi town, Anambra State.

OUR PURPOSE:
Is to develop soul winners, church planters, character builders, ministers and preachers driven by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.  For this reason, our course have been developed to give special attention to the role of the Holy Spirit in the work of Evangelism and other church activities.

We give special attention to the central truth of the christian faith and prepares men and woman for all of the ministry in the church.

International College of Missions and Theology expouses the virtures of knowledge, but believes that all knowledge without Christ is vanity, thus, each of the subjects taught are appoached from the standpoint of the absolute supremacy of the biblical truth.

We also aim:

1.  To Lead each student to a fuller and deeper experience of Christ as Saviour and Lord and to expose him to the wholesome spiritual influence which will develop Christian character and Christ centered living.

2.  To guide each student into a comprehensive knowledge of biblical principles, content and doctrine through a systematic study of the infallible words, and to equip him with methods for a continuing personal study.

3.  To confront the students with the gospel imparative  of "making disciples of all the nations" and to instill within him an awareness of personal responsibility in carrying out that imparative.

4.  To help and encourage the student to desire and experience a true love and dedication to God and the church, the body of Christ and to guide him to find his place in the body.

5.  To equip the student to meaningfully fulfill the requirements and responsibility of the specialized Chirstian service to whch he is called, be it, evangelist, pastor, teacher, soul winner - missionary etc..

6.  To instruct the student in methods of biblical exegesis, building and delivering of sermons, to prepare him in pastoral counseling, spiritual leadership and church government and to give him  adequate bibilical foundation for his pulpit,  pastoral and prophetic ministries.

7.  To foster a disire for continual personal pursuit of spiritual growth throught the personal application of the discipline, acquired throughtout the students training experience in intercomath.
