Our team discovered that apart missionary crusade ministry, which has an appreciable presence in Koma, all other people go there to snap photograph for reasons best known to them. Brother Mathias who has been a part of the missionary work in Koma from it's inception, has made a number of useful suggestions to Rescuers Mission Agency on how to reach Koma people effectively. These include: A. An aggressive rehabilitation programme for the younger ones. B. Establishment of schools to reorient their mind so that they could benefit from the modern civilization which education brings. C. Establishment of a primary health center so as to handle numerous cases of sickness. As a team left behind that day, our mind is now focused on how to tackle all these problems. Already a team of teachers are being recruited to start the school in the next one year. YOU WANT TO HELP? Some of the ways you can help are: 1. Sponsor the monthly allowance of Brother Mathias and 4 other missionaries who will soon join him there. 2. Help to provide a jeep or any other strong vehicle that could go to that place. Indeed, not all vehicles can reach Komni. 3. Provide fairly used clothes to cloth the naked in Koma land. 4. Provide drugs for use in both short term missionary visit, by our doctors for use in the rural health centre that is about to be established. 5. Assist in Providing fund to start the school projects. 6. Pray seriously for Rescuers Mission Agency and the missionaries under her so that the work will go unhindered. 7. Visit the place yourself to serve God where the harvest is plenteous but labourers are few. 8. Assist Mathias to remarry. He lost his wife a year before he returned to Koma 9. Help in training his two children who are now living with his relatives. |
