Hi - you
guys did a great job - I really enjoyed myself - it was great to see everyone
and it was alot of fun! I can't believe it has been 25 years!
wow - I'm so glad so many people made it - I think everyone enjoyed themselves -
good job!
P.S.
Susan tells me that there will be a get together at Picadilly Pub in Mansfield
on Friday December 20th - please feel free to invite others - and if you took
pictures please try to bring them with you - ok hope to see you all there -
thanks again - Colleen

Hello All;
It was
so great to see most of you this past Saturday. We certainly missed those
classmates who were unable to attend. We just want to give you the update of the
evening. There were a lot of smiling faces and loud laughter and I swear it
wasn’t because of the alcohol. Ok maybe a little bit. It was nice to be able
to share our lives and to rekindle some distant but very significant
relationships.
Connie
welcomed the crowd and then Sully and I presented well deserved bouquets of
flowers to each Pam and Marci for all their efforts. The food was great (you
mean to tell me they served food?). The DJ did a valiant job of getting people
to sing and dance. Yes, Poz (Nancy) and Mike Snyder sang karaoke songs to us.
While Donna Nelson Posner demonstrated the skill art of
country-western-type-line-dancing. The DJ told me the name of the dance, but I
must say if you saw me trying to do the dance you would understand why I quickly
forget its name. It’s nice to see that Colleen, Sandy, and Shari haven’t
lost their moves. Giddy-up.
This
was the first reunion for quite a few classmates and their comments were very
positive. The 3 H-men were in the House (lest you had forgotten Hirsh, Hoffman,
and Holtzman). Not to be confused with H-man (Craig Hershman – he couldn’t
make it because he was getting married that very evening.) Lisa Falcione,
another 1st timer, shared that she was so happy she decided to attend. By the
way, she still has that million dollar smile and laugh.
I think
our class is making quite an impact in the medical field. We are among Doctors,
Nurses, Dietians, Physical Therapists, and Counselors. I am glad to see that all
those years of Latin paid off from some of you. Not to mention, the Homemakers,
Administrators, VPs, Lawyers, Law Enforcers, Engineers, Machinists, Union Reps,
Managers, and other professions held by our classmates. WOW, what a talented
group.
How
excellent was it to see our pre-graduation classmates, Doug Arnold, Jane Cellura,
Helene Liebling, and Doug Mirable. It was terrific to see Tony Toti, who was
also a first timer and brought with him (besides Doug), Danny Kourafas, and Sue
McDonough. Steve Kafka was there to claim his title as the “Class of 1977
Triathlete Champion”. (NOTE: if you want to de-throne him start training for
next year’s Sharon Race – August). (Either that or do as I plan…. Hire
someone to flatten his tires… that will give me the 90 minutes I need to beat
him).
After
the reunion, Brights (Gail) invited everyone to my room. Actually Bauschy and I
were sharing a room and surprise, surprise we strategically squirreled away some
beer in our room to keep the party going. When things got cramped, very quickly
by the way, Connie called Pam (she had a suite) and quickly the party moved
upstairs. There was a good size crowd inside and outside the suite and all were
having fun time until House Security encouraged us to close the door.
This
led to the departure of some while the rest of us were torturing Marci, Poz, and
Pam. It was their room and they just wanted to go to sleep. When Poz came out
into the sitting room wrapped in a blanket, I tried to encourage her to go down
stairs to fall asleep in our room (seriously it was not a come-on). I said,
“Nancy why don’t you go downstairs to my room” Poz replied so sweetly,
“No Dut why don’t you go down to your room”. I must admit it was the
nicest way anyone ever told me to get the “hell out of here”. So I led a
group (Coff, Whrit, Mitch, Lisa F. and Bauschy of course) back to our room until
5:00, or until Bausch started to snore. Okay, so some of us haven’t grown up.
So
there I was alone, sleeping next to a snoring Georgey Bausch….. Decisions?
Decisions? Decisions? He wouldn’t wake up. Now I know why he was voted Class
Heartbreaker. J
Now
don’t go starting any rumors. Our wives are looking for every excuse to dump
us.
Seriously,
we are pleased that folks had a good evening. It is a labor of love for us. We
encourage you to utilize the Reunion Directory to keep in touch with each other.
Roni
Enbinder made a very interesting suggestion about the next reunion. Rather than
having a 30th reunion, she recommended we wait until our 32nd year reunion as
this will be the year most of us will be 50. So we can throw a reunion and a
50th birthday party for each other. Thanks Roni, we just may do that. Don’t
worry folks that is still 7 years away.
Keep in
touch by e-mailing [email protected]
and/or the web site http://www.geocities.com/reunionshs1977.
Thanks
again for making it an enjoyable evening.

Dut and all,
You guys that did all the planning and arrangements
definitely outdid yourselves! You all deserve at least a pat on the back!
<g> Compared to the other reunions I have been to, while they all
have been fun, this was by far the best!!! It was so great to see
everyone.
I think it would be great if we all could keep in
touch. Maybe through the website even? And whatever is decided for
the next one I am already looking forward to the next one.
As Robin Kaufman said most of the night, "What a
Hoot!!!" It really was so good to see everyone and I again thank
everyone involved in organizing it.
I hope everyone has some great holidays coming up and a
Happy New Year!

Pam
just a little note to tell you you did a great job! Everyone I've talked to had
a great time. I know a lot of time and effort went into getting it together and
I just wanted to thank you for a great time. See you soon
Gail
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to all of you who made it
possible.
Ted

To the
Planning Committee,
Thank you so very much for organizing such a successful reunion! I did get
a chance to catch up with Pam, Mark and Greg. It is nice to know you are
all so well. Marci, you looked great - just like a high schooler!
Bobby, you looked the same- hardly aged at all! Craig and I had a long
drive home so made an early exit; next time I go stag and sign up for a room.
It was fun rehashing old memories.
Did anyone get Melissa Spaulding's e-mail? I don't even know her married
name.....
Thanks again and enjoy the rest of the holiday season!
Ellen (Rowe)

Dear
reunion committee,
You did a great job! Everyone I talked to had a grod time.It was good to see so
many that I haven' t seen in so long.
Thanks ,
- John Z.

I just
wanted to express my sincere appreciation for all of your collective
efforts in planning the reunion. It was really, really good to see everyone
again!!!! That was the best night out I've had in a long time. What a terrific
group of folks we have in our class!!! It was amazing to mingle and talk to
old classmates, as well as kick back and watch all the excitement as everyone
got re-aquainted. Although I didn't get to talk to everyone I wanted to, and I
had to leave early, I had a fantastic time. I would love to have stayed longer.
I'm planning on attending the next reunion if so planned. Best wishes to the
class of '77 and respective families, to happy, healthy, prosperous and
sustained lives. Thanks again, Dut, Marci, Connie, Pam and Sully. Helluva job.
It truly was "a walk down memory lane". Regards, Al Davis.

Dear
classmates,
This message is to thank the five of you for your excellent work in putting
together the SHS 25th year class reunion. You did a great job with the
logistics, in keeping us all informed of the event, and in creating the
chemistry for a fun night. I knew the night was going to be interesting, but
I didn't expect to have such a thoroughly enjoyable evening my first time
back.
As I am sitting here back in warm, sunny San Diego, digging my way out of
several days' unanswered messages, I am looking forward to the next time we
all get together back there, even if it is 15 degrees Farenheit outside.
Until then, I wish you the best of luck.
Best regards,
Al

Hey guys - Just wanted to
let you all know what a great time we had Sat night. Good effort on the
"Cotton-Eyed Joe," Dut! It comes with years of experience
dancing the bar and bat mitzvah circuit! Very FUN. Pam's idea sounds
fun (and scary!)- 50 years old - YIKES! I also thought Mark's idea of a
summer gathering with couple of other classes could be fun also. Again,
thank you all for all the time and effort - the decorations were really nice
too! Take care, Donna PoZner
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all -
I agree - best reunion ever! I sent a thank you to "the
committee" - Pam, Greg, Mike, Marci and Mark - You guys are
incredible!! It was so great seeing everyone again - How funny after all
these years we can still connect - What a great class! I hope all of
you have happy, healthy and peaceful holidays!!
Lets all stay in touch -
Debbie Sallen Werner

Hi
All,
Great reunion and cheers to Dut, Sully, Connie, Marci & Pam for organizing
everything. And it was great to see everyone. Sue (Flaherty) Sweeney mentioned
something about those of us in the area getting together some evening. Count me
in! And should anyone be interested in getting together soon may I suggest The
Finbar Pub & Meeting House in Norwood on Washington Street. I will be
singing
there Saturday night December 21st it is smoke free and the beer is cold and
cheap! Bring ear plugs if you have perfect pitch!
If you prefer a smokey pub with cold cheap beer I will be at Finnigan's Wake in
Walpole Friday night December 20th.
Everyone take care
and keep in touch,
Chuck Fazzio

Hi
All,
This was the by far the best reunion so far. Hats off to Dut, Sully,
Connie, Marci and Pam for an incredible job well done. It was sooo much
fun to see everyone. I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time.
It was fun to catch up with everyone - although I know I didn't get to talk to
everyone I wanted to. I guess I will just have to remedy that at the 30th
or 32nd as the case may be....except at the 32nd I will still only be 49 (for
once being the youngest does not seem like such a bad thing) but I will be more
than willing to help the rest of you celebrate turning 50!! On
another note, not to make anyone jealous, but I am wearing shortsleeves and
sandals as I write this email (it is a sunny 65 degrees). How you continue
to live in that weather, I will never know! If anyone finds themselves in
the San Francisco Bay area, don't hesitate to look me up - I would love to
see/get together with people from home.
Have a great holiday season and a wonderful new year.
Lori Elefant
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chuck
et al,
I for one cannot do those dates but let's really hope that another time that
you have a "gig" I can join you all in getting together. I would
really want
to . Saturday night was so great and for those in the area, it would be
great to not have to wait five or seven years.
It is either that-- or sitting through one of your classes right?
Maybe sometime in the future we should get together with our kids to then
see if we all behave like parents. Then again, maybe we shouldn't----
Take care everyone. Happy holidays.
Robyn

I also agree - The reunion committee did a fantastic job. You forget how
many us went from Elementary school to High School together. The booklet
you created is great. I think have the 32nd instead of a 30th or just one
big 50th birthday party for everyone would be great.
Hope
everyone has a great holiday season.

Just
wanted to say thanks to the committee for doing a great job on the reunion.
It was the first one I attended, and can hardly wait for the next one. It
was great to see old friends. Happy holidays to all!
Keep in touch,
Nancy Ginden
