Professional:

I am currently a Product Line Manager at Woodward, in charge of $63M of turbine engine control products for aerospace applications (FMU, Actuation, and EHSV). My days are filled with preparing business cases for products, projects, and proposals; maintaining product & technology roadmaps; developing product pricing strategies in response to life-cycle management; responding to customer requests; maintaining direct relationships with key management contacts (customer program managers, engineering, etc); and developing plans/strategies that increase business at current customers. I also lead our strategic planning process, including setting strategic direction and product opportunities, support OEM, A/M, and whitespace forecasting (both in-year and 10-year look ahead).

Previously, I have been a Technology Development Engineer at Woodward (May 2001 – Mar 2003) and a Electromechanical Systems Engineer at MPC Products (Jan 1998 – May 2001). Both roles were fairly challenging.

Disc Jockey:

I met Ed Farwell in 1995 during an engineering class at the University of Illinois. Little did I know he would introduce me to DJ-ing. It was by offering him and his crew free golf at the U of I golf course, that I landed my first gig at Joe's Brewery. And had it paid more than $6/hr, perhaps I'd still be there.

I've kept the passion, however, and DJ-ed nearly every single weekend since. Blending house with hip-hop, trance with techno, and old-skool with R&B, I've had seven key residencies to date, each having their own influence on my additudes and sound. Lately, I've been focusing on that Chicago-rooted groovin filtered funky club house, which is not only a delicate toungue-twister, but also a well-crafted sound mixing familiar stabs and acapellas over underground beatz, helping generations leave their ego at the door and get down.

Residencies:
Aug 95 – Dec 97: Joe’s Brewery ("Retro" Thursdays)
Jul 98 – Mar 00: Groovy Midlothian (Friday and Saturday)
May 00 – May 01: Groovy Rockford (Friday and Saturday)
Jun 01 – Sept 01: Elixur Nightclub (Wednesday and Saturday)
Sept 01 – Aug 02: The Office Nightclub (Saturday)
Jan 02 – Mar 02: Club Divine ("Kreme" Friday)
Mar 03 – Jan 06: O’Neils (Friday)
April 06 – present (periodically): Bacchus (last saturday each month) and The Office Niteclub (upon demand)
