Treatment of a Tight / Non-Retractable Foreskin

Back to MGM

When males are born, there are two things holding their foreskin forward…

-The entire inner foreskin is attached to the glans (head) the same way your fingernails are attached.

-There is a ring of muscle around the opening that has to be stretched out for it to expand enough to allow the foreskin to retract.

This ring is called the ‘frenar band’. This band of muscle has to be stretched out to allow the foreskin to slide back without pain.

Normally, during puberty boys start getting lots of erections, especially at night (So that is what morning wood is for) and that does it. But sometimes, this does not do the trick. The easy (and kind of fun) way to help nature along is to do this…

STEP 1:

1) Take a HOT bath/shower, this relaxes the skin

2) Grasp the tip of your foreskin gently and pull it forward (away from you). This will help to break up the adhesions attaching your inner foreskin to your glans.

3) Hold it forward for a count of twenty or so. Then rest and do it again.

STEP 2: (If you CAN retract your foreskin, you can probably skip step one)

1) Take a hot bath/shower

2) Gently pull the foreskin back (toward you) as far as it will go without pain. It is important not to cause yourself pain, because that can injure your foreskin and actually make it harder to retract

3) Hold it back for a count of twenty or so, and rest. Then repeat.

4) The more you do this, the faster your foreskin will stretch out.

Once you can retract your foreskin fully when flaccid (soft) you can start on getting ‘erect retraction’. Remember, your glans (head) gets wider when you get hard, and that frenar band has to expand more.

STEP 3:

1) Take a hot bath/shower

2) Wet the first two fingers of one hand

3) Retract your foreskin

4) Push your foreskin back forward, and over your two fingers (so you have the two fingers in the opening of the foreskin)

5) GENTLY, with only the power of the two fingers, stretch the frenar band.

6) After you are done, apply cream if desired

STEP 4”

1) Take a hot bath/shower

2) Wet the first finger of both hands

3) Insert them into the opening of your foreskin like in step 3

4) GETNLY pull to stretch the frenar band.

5) After you are done, apply cream if desired

Make sure you don’t have any soap/shampoo on your fingers, as this can irritate the glans/inner foreskin.

Sometimes, this retracting will cause the foreskin to swell a little, which can be uncomfortable. The over-the-counter ‘anti-inflammatory’ creams will fix this. Most of the time guys use hydrocortisone (the same stuff they sell for rashes and hemorrhoids), and it works fine.

Another thing many guys do it retract their foreskins as far as they can every time they urinate. This way, you don’t get urine trapped under your foreskin, and it helps to stretch out that ring of muscle I was talking about.

It is important not to cause yourself pain, since that is a sign of micro-tears in the foreskin. These tears are not a problem, but they heal over with scar tissue, which is not flexible. So, if you go too hard/fast, you can hurt yourself and make your foreskin LESS able to retract.

Remember how lucky you are to be intact. You will have none of the medical problems a cut guy would have, and you will have all the benefits of being intact. Never let anyone think of you as “uncircumcised”, you are  “intact”.
