Restore ME is a club of men in Maine (abbreviated ME) who were the victims of routine infant genital mutilation. We were not born in some far off place, and our parents were not religious zealots, we were simply the victim of a culture that holds tradition above common sense.
This mutilation has had a drastic effect on us, but our parents were misled by the medical community, just as people have been for a hundred years on this subject.
We have taken it upon ourselves to try to restore that part of our bodies. After all, it was fully functional, required, and most of all IT WAS OUR BODY!
