us thru the struggle. And there will be struggle.
These gentiles may be just that ~ righteous gentiles. Or they may be sparks who are starting the voyage thru the water ways, the crooked path, home to where they were first created….home to Israel. Like the Salmon, they too have that inward homing beacon. Unlike the Salmon, however, they are not cold blooded They feel the pain of the journey, they think, feel confused, rejected, and often cut off from their families and culture. And they themselves do not know how they are going to get here or even that they are Jewish sparks. Nothing is clear.
Many have said to me, "I take one day at a time. I open one door at a time. I have no idea what the plan is for tomorrow. I can not explain what is happening to me or my life but I will obey HaShem…"
Here I Am I am reminded of the Parasha Shemot where Moshe says "Here I am". The commentary says this expression connotes total readiness to carry out the will of the caller. Further on we see Moshe being told by HaShem that even though we may not have earned the redemption from Mitzraim, that on the basis of our potential, we were rewarded and redeemed. So even now, during these days TODAY, people are willing to go thru whatever is needed to carry out the will of HaShem, and He will bless us, the nation of Israel, this holy land, …..on our potential.
We are living in a special time, an amazing time. We are seeing prophesy come alive ~ we are living prophesy. You and me walking thru the days of the redemption. I am literally watching this happen. What a privilege time to live….what an exciting time…and yet what a difficult time. Am I not naïve about Christianity and it's bottom line motive? I hardly think so. I can tell song and verse as to what goes on in the mind of a Bible believing Christian. Do I believe that there are Jewish Nashamas out there working their way home. Most definitely. That is where my interest lies. To be a beacon….in any way I can. To constantly sift between truth and falsehood. To understand thoroughly what are the motivations and to know how to determine them. I am most definitely on my path.
HaRav Avraham Yitzhak HaCohen Kook says, "The voice of the shofar of the ingathering of the outcasts awakens; and great mercy increases; and the hope of life for Israel sparkles; and the planting of G-d develops and blooms; and the light of Salvation and Redemption spreads out and out, like the dawn which stretches over the mountains. Each Jewish soul is connected to every other soul of Clal Yisrayel, the yearning of one soul for Redemption has a positive influence on us all" (Lights of Orot).
