If you want to talk about how X Japan has influenced the Punk/Gothic/Industrial look of Japan, by all means, chat away! ^_^ She might even join, although Apsara have no idea who anyone is other than the beautiful hide *HEE-Day* AKA the pink spider is.

10. I do not allow the discussion of individual Japanese idol singers. That means, you CANNOT speak about Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru, etc. UNLESS they are dressed in a Gothic Lolita outfit, is going to a Japanese festival or by some freaky circumstances has turned Gothic, which I highly doubt about the latter.

We have an issue with shorthand AND Chat spelling such as "r", "u", etc. There are other people on the mailing list who WILL not be able to read English very well, they are from another country or english will be the second language, like Apsara. Please make sure that you write as clear as possible. As the owner of the mailing list, Apsara don't want them to feel left out because they have no clue what the hell we are talking about. Please try to refrain from using swear words.

Rules on what is appropriate materials for the photo album and files section

The files area should ONLY be for:

.writing
.fan/fiction
.fan/artwork
.essays

that have something or is talking about Lolita/alternative/lolita cosplay fashions and lifestyles. There should be NO photos in the files area.

Anything NOT in a folder with your name on it in the files area will be deleted.

The photo album is ONLY for photos of the members of this list IN their gothic lolita/alternative/lolita cosplay clothing. The below should NOT be in the photos section.

.pets,
.friends,
.other people dressed in lolita/alternative clothing (if they are on this mailing list, they should have their OWN files. If they are not on this mailing list, their pictures should NOT even be posted, even WITH their permission),
.pop/rock stars,
.lolita magazine pictures,
.Japanese lolita sites/store merchandise,
.other cosplay,
.drawings,
.boyfriend,
.and/or you in casual dress should NOT be posted. The sole exception is if you are in the picture WITH your friend and ALL of you are dressed in lolita fashion.

All photos that show your store's merchandise is unfortunately not allowed. Even if it IS of lolita and alternative fashions. You should have a nice online link to your store in the Links files. That's why Yahoo! made the links button. And why Apsara has conveniently cut the file up into neat little folders for you to put the appropriate links in the appropriate folders for easy browsing.

Anything else NOT in a photo file WILL be deleted.

This way others who actually want to put up more than five photos of themselves in their lolita finery can do so and not worry about reaching the photo album's limits.

Alternative by the way does NOT mean ripped jeans and sagging pants. Your photos will be removed.

If you want a place to put your photos, images, what have yous this site is highly recommended: www.imagestation.com Then you can post a link to the list and a permanent one in the Links section.

Most of us, on this mailing list, are open minded and tolarent (understanding wouldn't hurt either) of other people's differences/opinions/tastes/likes and subscribe to the the whole nine yards of "If you're nice to them, they'll be nice to you." atitude.

And as a further precaution against those who believe they are entering a child lolita sex mailing list, we have to ask these questions. We know for those who have legitimate reasons for wanting to join the mailing list, this seems to be very offensive. We're very, very sorry for this inconvenience. We've already gotten many pending members who are looking for these things and they've come to the wrong place.
