My name is Albert Balbutin, this year's College of Business Representative on the Associated Students Board of directors. I was appointed to the Associated Students board on May 9, 2001, to hold this position for the upcoming 2001-2002 school year. My job as a representative is to inform students majoring in business, let alone attending classes in the business building, and those merely interested in business, including incoming transfers and freshman looking into the college. Associated students is a nonprofit campus entity with a mission to make students aware of their potential by encouraging their involvement in the free construction of a proud cultural heritage at San Francisco State. Visit the Associated students site here. Associated Students is made up of the some 27,000 students enrolled at SFSU and every one of them has the opportunity to join the Associated Student's Board of Directors-each separate college has a representative, where I represent the College of Business. My term will end by the end of this 2001-2002 school year. During this time, I will be helping out by being the information bridge for all students in general, in addition to my College of Business constituents. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, the college, and Associated Students. E-mail me and/or sign my guestbook if you have any questions and suggestions or just want to say hello. Special thanks to the good people at Student Services for help with this site, Interim Dean Jerry Platt, and Associate Dean Alan Jung for helping out as well. Greetings to all those who contributed their effort by putting up photos for the site. I appreciate all that you have done and I am looking forward to working with all of you in the coming year. |
