In two (2) years service as staff of the Management Information System (MIS) designated as Computer Technician, I started to maintain 35 computer units which grew to 100 workstations of Windows 95/ 98 Operating System. In the acquisition of Windows NT in 1998, I and the assistance of two (2) others, established the Local Area Network, cabling system of the two-floor publishing group.

 

I.T. skills are as follows:

Quick troubleshooting and repair of PC compatible computer system.
Minimizing downtime of computer units for optimum utilization.
Maintains network connection on all loopback from Hubbel Patch Panel router among CNET and D-Link hubs through CAT5 UTP.
Ensures data transfer in all 13 workgroups using D-Link, Novell, Cnet, and other Network Interface card.
Configuring connection to Wingate as proxy server to 100 workstations.
Enabling Internet Explorer 4 Browsers to download research materials with the aid of TCP/ IP protocols.
Voice and Fax transmission monitoring using Cheyenne Bitware through Supra external modem and Rockwell and ESS Telenet internal modem.
Controls computer and peripherals inventory using a database program called System Maintenance Module or SMM.
Assembly of a working PC with reassurance of compatibility among different manufacturer’s component.
