Regina's RenGarb Medieval and Renaissance Wear
creations by Regina Wright
I'm just another Renaissance Faire-loving woman, who has spent a large part of her life sewing and mending her family's clothes.  But I have recently acquired two new sewing machines and a large amount of Medieval and Renaissance clothing patterns (most of which are courtesy of the Simplicity Co.), and I've decided to use them  to benefit both our friends and the public, through making custom costumes.  I'm a big fan of yard sales, where I can pick up scores of beautiful cloth whose uses were unrealized by their previous owners.  These, along with the many deals I find at Wal-Mart and other wholesale cloth shops, is how I make these wonderful garments for people's past-time pleasures.  Yes-- the fabric I use is realistic, not that flimsy stuff you see in ready-made costumes at Halloween. This website will display galleries of my work, and give you the ability to contact me for a personalized order.  I am based in Putnam, CT (USA), and will prefer to mostly serve the Northeastern states, both at Renaissance Faires and at home.  So please, enjoy my work, although few things are up to view right now.  Come back soon and see what else catches your eye!
